What do you think is the most ubsurd thing in the Bible?
If this an attempt to prove the bible wrong you have FAILED. I am not even going to try to refute you, it would be a waist of time, you would choose what you want to hear as your best answer. But go do some research and actually know what your talking about.
Is there a big difference between going to church and following a church?
Family radio is headed by a false teacher by the name of Herold Camping. No more needs to be said on that. Yes there is a difference between going to Church and following a Church. Catholics are a fine example of a people who follow a Church. Devout Christians follow Christ. Not a Church. However this is not a call to ignore the assembling of ourselves together, which we are commanded to do.
Declined for credit card with a decent FICO score?
Seems pretty self-explanatory to me. 638 is on the low side of "decent" and credit score is not the sole factor that creditors use in making their decisions.
Jesus is God but he is not The Father?
What the Bible teaches about God and Jesus is clear and simple. It is not difficult to understand. Neither the word “Trinity” nor the concept is found in God’s Word. The Bible clearly states that Jesus Christ is God’s firstborn Son. (Colossians 1:15) It also points to Jesus as being the “mediator between God and men.” (1 Timothy 2:5) About the Father, the Bible says: “You, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth.”—Psalm 83:18.
Believers: Can you give me a solid rebuttal to the Epicurean paradox?
God cannot be judged by man's limited logic. He has a plan that we cannot comprehend. And we can gain salvation through blood of Christ. Evil proves the Fall at Eden and gives us incentive to seek out the Son.
The illiad.. help please!!?
The Iliad reflects that view that life is not fair. Give examples from the myth to support this statement.
How could a benign, almighty god create evil?
Simply put--God created the world and He created it to be good. But He gave us a choice, free will--to choose good or evil. If you read in Genesis back in the Garden on Eden when Adam and Eve ate the apple, they were the ones who brought evil into the picture. They chose evil. Not God.
