Does Jesus seem egotistical to you?

He was God Almighty from all eternity, but lowered Himself to the status of a mere creature, then allowed Himself to be tortured and murdered by other creatures. Does that sound like egotistical? There would be absolutely no reason to worship Buddha, who was also a mere creature. There is every reason to worship the second divine Person of the Most Holy Trinity.
