I don't think my friend's mom likes me?

I have known my friend Ellie and her family for about 9 years. Her mom seemed to like me but was also kind of conservative and I sometimes felt awkward around her. Over time, she became more warm around me. But then I made one small mistake, and even though I apologized and the family forgave me, things haven't been the same. After a few months, Ellie started acting normal and comfortable around me again, but I don't think her mom wants her to hang out with me anymore. They never invite me over anymore and despite her politeand friendly behavior, I don't think her mom has truly forgiven me. How can I still hang out with Ellie AND be approved of by her mom?
