Why is evil inflicted upon this world?

i think the best way to put this so its short and sweet is.... in the before life remember that 1/3 of gods followers ended up following satin, so that 1/3 shows in the people we deal with in our lives, i had the very same question and my bishop told me this and all i could say was..... ohhhhhh! lol
