Has praying for japan accomplishing anything so far?

I'm sure praying has helped some of the people in Japan deal with what just happened. Typically, believing in God makes you feel like you're not alone, that there is something out there that still cares about you, that you will always get help when you need it. And sometimes it's subtle. You just have to know where to look for it. Prayer prevents people from feeling completely hopeless. If they are completely hopeless, they stop trying to fix what is wrong. Prayer gives people hope and the strength to push forward and deal with their situation. I'm sure God isn't going to magically fix everything in Japan in two days, and I'm sure that most people would agree with that, but believing that there is a force out there that is bigger than us and that has our back helps Japan rebuild. Anyway, this probably didn't answer your question, but honestly, no one can truly answer it.
