Would this be rude to ask?

My instructor picked me up and dropped me off all the time, especially when my mom was working. Now my boss picks me up on her way to work every now and again. I'm already on their route, so its no big deal for them. Plus they both loved having me around to help out. It's not rude, but her mom may feel bad if you have to go out of your way to get her.
